Quinta da Fonte follows all the directives issued by DGS (Direção-Geral de Saúde) in the care and well being of their residents.

- In-house Director (English speaking)
- 24hr caring and experienced and trained staff providing the best care available. All staf meet DGS Health and Safety requirements
- Medication management
- Nursing team on site daily
- Weekly GP visits
- On-site activity coordinator
- Emergency call system in every room
- Telephone, cable TV and house wide WiFi
- Creative meals, freshly prepared on the premises by professional caterers, which can be customised to meet individual dietary requirements as needed
- Communal dining room or room service if required
- Family and friends are actively encouraged to visit residents at the residence or to accompany them out for lunch or a walk
- Staff arrange both inhouse and visits to hairdressers, dentists, physiotherapy etc. as required
- English and Portuguese speaking staff
- Residents lift and wheelchair access doors allow easy movement throughout the house
- Individual personal care plans including mobility and dietary needs
- If rooms are available short term stays i.e. convalescence or respite are possible
